Dentist and dental health
Toothache, cavities, dental injury or a check-up — start here.
Toothache, sensitivity, a cavity you can feel with your tongue, or simply time for a check-up? Briefly tell us what it is about — ideally with a photo — and the dentist assesses what is urgent and books you the right kind of appointment.
The price depends on the time and any membership. You always see the total before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
What does a dental appointment cost?
Adults generally pay themselves, but several conditions qualify for Helfo reimbursement. You see the price and approve before you pay — and the clinic handles the Helfo claim when you have rights.
What do I do with a knocked-out tooth?
A knocked-out permanent tooth should be put back in place or kept in milk/saline and treated as soon as possible. Start the conversation right away, and call the clinic if you do not get an immediate reply.
With major swelling of the floor of the mouth or throat, trouble swallowing or breathing, or a high fever: call 113. In Norway, out-of-hours dental care is reached via 116117.
