Can I get a certificate for an absence that already happened?
A doctor can only confirm what is clinically sound to confirm. The sooner after the absence you get in touch, the easier it is to document.
Does this cover the school attendance rule?
Yes. A medical statement is one of the accepted types of documentation for exempting absence from the attendance limit. We write it after a normal assessment.
